Taken from Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and lead by Professor Yan Guozheng, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering from the year 2009, the research team got new breakthrough in aspects as “video capsule endoscope” integrated circuit chip, “video capsule endoscope” wireless energy transmission, “video capsule endoscope” image processing technique, micro-volume multimode integration and so on.

The outcome of such research, “Gastrointestinal Tract non-invasive diagnostic video capsule endoscope system ” and “wireless energy transmission Gastrointestinal Tract non-invasive diagnostic video capsule endoscope system”, has passed the evaluation and got approved by experts team, which was organized by Shanghai Association of Inventions, and made up of academician Wang Weiqi, Chen Guilin, Zhong Shan, and other experts from Zhengjiang University, Tianjing University, Southeast University, the second Institution of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, Shanghai Association of Inventions, Shanghai Aerospace Bureau, SIMT, Shanghai Xinhua Hospital, and Shanghai Renji Hospital. The two inventions are both first nationally and cutting-edge internationally. Many other industry representatives also attended the meeting.
