On Nov.16th, 2012, the two-week long Sino-Demark B&O CD-DIP Innovative Camp finally dropped its curtain successfully. Held by both Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and Aarhus University (AU), the second largest university in Demark, the camp wrapped up with student presentations and closing ceremony.
The ceremony welcomed leaders from Graduate School of SJTU, School of Electrical Information Electronic Engineering, and School of Media and Design , and addressed by Vice President HUANG Zhen of SJTU, and Friis Arne Petersen, the Demark Ambassador to China who flew all the way from Beijing to Shanghai.
As an experimental method for graduate students cultivation, the B&O Camp provides the students an opportunity for innovation and practice in multi-major, multi-cultural,and knowledge-practice combined environment.
In the closing ceremony, the SJTU and AU students in different major ranging from industry design to social science, presented their team work achievements. All the procedure from brainstorming, user communication, conception generalization, proposal optimization, to model presentation were all finished in two weeks.
VP Huang, Ambassador Friis Arne Petersen, and the representative from B&O company all appraised the camp for its multi-culture, multi-major, team work spirit, and innovative ability.
