On February 26, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office jointly held the Shanghai " Shanghai Party featured spot for foreign affairs " certificate issuing ceremony in the Foreign Affairs Office conference room. School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao tong University was awarded the title of " Shanghai Party construction spot for foreign affairs ". Seven units included Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai Jiao tong University Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering College, Fosun Group, Shanghai Turbine Works ,the Hongqiao airport economic Park Development Co., Ltd., Hongkou Quyang streets, Taiping village Jiangqiao Town Jiading District, gained this title, and became the first batch of  this title. SEIEE was honored as the only university representative.

The Director of Party Relations Division, Foreign Affairs Office Party Ma, Junwei presided the certification issuing ceremony, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Zhu, Weimin, Xiang,Shaohui, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Organization Department Organization Wang, Yeyong attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The delegates did the speeches separately.
