In the afternoon of October 14, SEIEE Research Projects Application Lecture for young teachers was successfully held in 3-208. This lecture was mainly aimed at young teachers who joined the Institute in these two years and it introduced requirements and experience for the research application. SEIEE deputy party secretary Mo Guangcheng, vice president Guan Haibing, Research Office director He Liming with other staff and more than 10 young teachers attended the forum.

Mo Guangcheng illustrated at the beginning that this forum was held in the time of Party mass line educational activities and aimed at enabling young teachers to learn about research reporting policies and requirements timely and minutely so that   they would adapt to scientific research work better and make fewer mistakes in project application. And Vice president Guan Haibing said young teachers were the backbone of the development of SEIEE and scientific research was the important part of their work. SEIEE attached great importance to the growth of young teachers. Also research workers were very glad to introduce their own experience.

Then, director of research office He Liming elaborate in detail the application for National Natural Science Foundation and other longitudinal projects which were suitable for young teachers. In the interaction process, young teachers were eager to speak and combined with their project problems encountered in the application process they asked several questions to vice president Guan Haibing and responsible staff of research office such as how to write project proposals, how to declare matched projects to NSFC and related offices. Responsible teacher answered their questions one by one.

This lecture was a consulting services activities tailored to young teacher in order to practice the Party's mass line. It aimed at leading the service of young teachers and boosting growth and success for young teachers. At last young teachers sung high for this activity, Yan Hao, said that this activity familiarized him with the application process of vertical funds and played a very good indication for their research.
